Doc Parse

Security checks across malware telemetry and agentic risk

Overview

This document-parsing skill is coherent and purpose-aligned, but users should understand that some parsing may involve sending document data or URLs to MinerU/OpenDataLab services.

Install this only if you are comfortable using MinerU/OpenDataLab for document parsing. Avoid confidential files, secrets, customer data, or internal-only URLs unless you understand and accept the provider’s data handling and retention practices.

Finding
The skill explicitly supports parsing local files and URLs via an external MinerU service, but the description does not warn users that document contents may be transmitted off-host. This creates a real privacy and data-handling risk because users may supply sensitive Word documents under the assumption processing is purely local.
