Updownio

Security checks across malware telemetry and agentic risk

Overview

This is a real Updown.io integration, but it gives an agent broad authenticated API access without clear safety limits for write or delete actions.

Review before installing. Use this only if you are comfortable granting Membrane-backed access to your Updown.io account. Prefer read-only/list actions first, require the agent to show the endpoint, method, and payload before any POST, PUT, PATCH, or DELETE request, and revoke the Membrane connection when it is no longer needed.

The skill documents a generic proxy request mechanism that supports arbitrary HTTP methods, headers, and bodies, but it does not warn that direct API requests may create, modify, or delete Updown.io resources. In an agent setting, this omission can lead to unintended state-changing operations without clear user confirmation, especially because the proxy abstraction makes dangerous requests easy to perform.
