Pitchlane

Security checks across malware telemetry and agentic risk

Overview

This Pitchlane integration is mostly coherent, but it gives agents broad authenticated API access that could change or delete business data without clear approval guardrails.

Install only if you trust Membrane and want an agent to work with your Pitchlane account. Prefer discovered Membrane actions over raw proxy calls, review action IDs and inputs, and require explicit approval before any create, update, patch, delete, or raw proxy request. Consider using a least-privileged Pitchlane account and revoking the Membrane connection when finished.

Finding
The skill explicitly documents a generic proxy mechanism that supports state-changing HTTP methods like POST, PUT, PATCH, and DELETE without requiring confirmation, guardrails, or warnings about destructive actions. In the context of an agent skill that may act autonomously on a live SaaS connection, this increases the risk of unintended modification or deletion of Pitchlane data through overly broad or mistaken requests.
