NeuroSync FPS Calibrator

Security checks across malware telemetry and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a local FPS sensitivity calibration tool with no evidence of network exfiltration, persistence, or destructive behavior, but its privacy claims are overstated.

Install only if you are comfortable running a local Python/OpenCV tool on screen recordings. Do not rely on its “100%” privacy/account-safety wording; keep sensitive account, chat, or map details out of recordings when possible, and be aware that the packaged bridge appears to validate but not actually pass your angle input into the core calibration script.

Intent-Code Divergence

Medium
Confidence
96% confidence
Finding
The skill makes a strong security/privacy assurance that every video frame is automatically masked to protect sensitive areas, but the documented interface only accepts angle arrays and returns calibration values, with no implementation or evidence of any video processing pipeline. This is dangerous because users may rely on a nonexistent privacy safeguard and expose sensitive in-game or account information under false assurances.

Missing User Warnings

Medium
Confidence
90% confidence
Finding
The subprocess inherits a full copy of the parent environment, which may include secrets such as API keys, tokens, proxy credentials, or cloud metadata settings. If the child script is compromised, replaced, or logs its environment, those secrets can be exposed to another trust boundary.
