Claw Desktop Pet

Security checks across malware telemetry and agentic risk

Overview

This is a disclosed desktop companion skill, but it asks users to run an external Electron project and enables optional voice and chat-sync features that need privacy review.

Install only if you trust the referenced GitHub repository and npm dependencies. Run without administrator privileges where possible, review MiniMax and Feishu/Lark settings before enabling them, get consent for any cloned voice, and avoid syncing sensitive workplace messages unless approved.

Finding
The skill advertises voice cloning and bidirectional Feishu/Lark message sync but does not disclose that user speech, cloned voice data, or chat content may be sent to third-party services or external systems. In an Electron desktop companion context, users may assume local-only behavior, so missing privacy and transmission warnings can lead to uninformed consent and unintended exposure of sensitive personal or workplace data.
