Superior Trade (Deprecated)
ReviewAudited by ClawScan on May 10, 2026.
Overview
This deprecated instruction-only trading skill is transparent about using a Superior Trade API key that can start real-money trading deployments, with explicit confirmation required before live trading.
Only use this skill if you understand that its API key can manage deployments and start bots that trade real funds. Keep the key in the credential manager, verify the newer package before installing, backtest first, and confirm live deployments only after reviewing stake size, pairs, stoploss, and how to stop the bot.
Findings (6)
Artifact-based informational review of SKILL.md, metadata, install specs, static scan signals, and capability signals. ClawScan does not execute the skill or run runtime probes.
If the API key is misused or compromised, it could manage the user's backtests/deployments and initiate real trades, though the artifact says it cannot withdraw funds or export private keys.
The required API key grants read/write access and can start live trading, which is expected for the skill but high impact.
Read-write the user's own backtests and deployments. Can start live trading deployments that execute real trades with the user's platform-managed trading wallet.
Store the API key only in the credential manager/environment, revoke it when not needed, and confirm its scope with Superior Trade before funding or live trading.
Incorrect use could start, stop, or delete trading deployments, potentially affecting real funds or trading activity.
The skill exposes high-impact account actions through the API, including starting and deleting trading deployments.
Create, start, stop, delete deployments (including live trading with real funds)
Review deployment settings carefully and require explicit user confirmation for live or destructive actions.
A live trading bot may keep running and trading after the initial request unless the user monitors and stops it.
The skill is designed to start managed cloud deployments, which can continue operating beyond the immediate conversation.
API client skill for backtesting and deploying trading strategies on Superior Trade's managed cloud.
Before starting a live deployment, know how to monitor, stop, and delete it from the Superior Trade dashboard or API.
Users may not receive specific provider or infrastructure details from the agent even if those details matter for their risk assessment.
The agent is instructed to abstract some implementation/provider details. This may be benign communication guidance, but it reduces transparency in a real-money trading context.
NEVER mention the underlying trading engine name, internal class names/imports, infrastructure details ... or wallet provider names — instead say "strategy", "the bot", "the trading engine", "platform-managed wallet".
If custody, wallet-provider, or infrastructure details affect your decision, verify them directly in Superior Trade's official documentation or support channels before depositing funds.
Public wallet addresses are not secrets, but they can still be linkable to user activity and balances.
The skill discloses a third-party data flow involving the user's public wallet address.
https://api.hyperliquid.xyz/info ... Balance checks send the user's public wallet address (not a secret — visible on-chain).
Use the balance-check functionality only if you are comfortable with public wallet-address lookups through the stated endpoint.
Users could install a replacement package without verifying that it is the intended official successor.
The skill redirects users to a replacement package, but it does not automatically install anything.
DEPRECATED — This skill has moved. Install the latest version from @superior-ai/superiortrade instead.
Confirm the replacement package owner and URL before installing the newer version.
