Internet Search
PassAudited by ClawScan on May 1, 2026.
Overview
This is an instruction-only skill that explains how to use a web search tool and does not request installation, credentials, persistence, or local system access.
This skill appears safe and purpose-aligned for improving web searches. Before using it, remember that anything placed in a search query may be sent to the configured search service and underlying engines, so do not include passwords, API keys, private documents, or sensitive personal details.
Findings (1)
Artifact-based informational review of SKILL.md, metadata, install specs, static scan signals, and capability signals. ClawScan does not execute the skill or run runtime probes.
Search terms may be sent to an external or hosted search service, so private or sensitive text should not be searched unless the user is comfortable sharing it.
This discloses that user search queries are routed through a search aggregation service and onward to search engines; that is purpose-aligned for an internet search skill but is still a data-flow users should understand.
Queries a self-hosted SearXNG instance aggregating multiple search engines.
Use the skill for normal web research, but avoid placing secrets, credentials, or highly sensitive personal information in search queries.
