Meditate

PassAudited by ClawScan on May 1, 2026.

Overview

This instruction-only skill is coherently scoped to local, text-only reflection, but it keeps local memory and may proactively surface insights during idle time.

Before installing, decide whether you want an agent to keep a local reflection memory based on your conversations and to produce proactive idle-time insights. If you use it, review ~/meditate/ occasionally, exclude sensitive topics, and reduce or pause the rhythm if the reflections become unwanted.

Findings (2)

Artifact-based informational review of SKILL.md, metadata, install specs, static scan signals, and capability signals. ClawScan does not execute the skill or run runtime probes.

What this means

Future meditation insights may be shaped by stored local profile, topic, feedback, and archive data.

Why it was flagged

The skill deliberately keeps persistent local memory derived from conversation history, which can influence future reflections and may contain sensitive personal or work patterns.

Skill content
Memory lives in `~/meditate/`... `profile.md`, `topics.md`, `insights.md`, `feedback.md`, `archive/` ... Reads conversation history to find patterns
Recommendation

Review the ~/meditate/ files periodically, remove sensitive topics, and delete or reset the local memory if you do not want past conversations to influence future reflections.

What this means

You may receive proactive reflection-style insights even when you did not just ask for one.

Why it was flagged

The skill is designed for proactive idle-time reflection on an adaptive schedule. This is disclosed and purpose-aligned, but it is still autonomous behavior users should knowingly enable.

Skill content
Agent has idle time between user interactions... Very active (daily chats) | 1-2x per night, brief
Recommendation

Set clear frequency preferences, use the feedback controls to reduce or pause meditations, and exclude topics you do not want the skill to revisit.
