Botcoin Miner
Security checks across static analysis, malware telemetry, and agentic risk
Overview
The skill is internally consistent: it documents building and running a Bitcoin‑Core fork (rBitcoin) and only asks for mining-related runtime options, with no unrelated credentials or opaque install steps embedded in the skill itself.
This skill is a guided workflow to fetch, verify, build, and run a Bitcoin‑Core fork and a CPU miner; it does not request secrets, but it will download and execute code from upstream at runtime. Before installing or running: 1) confirm the upstream GitHub repo (happybigmtn/rBTC) and GPG keys/checksums independently; 2) inspect the actual install.sh and scripts you'll run (don't run them blind); 3) consider running the build and miner inside an isolated VM/container and set START_MINER=0 until you finish verification; 4) keep RPC_BIND and RPC_ALLOWIP restricted (defaults are localhost); and 5) be aware of CPU, disk, and network usage and the economic/legal implications of mining. The name mismatch ('Botcoin' vs 'rBitcoin') is likely cosmetic but verify you trust the source before proceeding.
