Buku

Security checks across malware telemetry and agentic risk

Overview

This skill does what it says, but it tells agents to skip confirmations when deleting bookmarks, including ranges, from a persistent local bookmark database.

Install only if you are comfortable letting an agent operate on your local buku bookmark database. Before deletion, range deletion, import/export, or global tag changes, ask the agent to show the exact target bookmarks or file paths and confirm the action explicitly. Use offline mode when you do not want bookmark metadata fetching to contact websites.

The skill explicitly recommends `--tacit` for delete operations, which suppresses confirmation for destructive actions. In an agent setting, this increases the risk of accidental or unauthorized bookmark deletion, especially if user intent is misparsed or the wrong index/range is selected.
