Scholarsearch

Security checks across malware telemetry and agentic risk

Overview

This is a disclosed academic-search skill that saves briefings to Obsidian and can send them through Feishu, with no evidence of hidden or destructive behavior.

Before installing, verify what local scholarsearch command or wrapper will actually run, configure Tavily and Feishu credentials with limited scope, choose the Feishu destination deliberately, confirm the Obsidian save path, and enable cron or heartbeat scheduling only if you want recurring automated reports.

Finding
The skill advertises automatic saving to Obsidian and sending complete content via Feishu without explicit user consent, disclosure of destination, or warning about data handling. This can cause unintended transmission or storage of sensitive queries, research topics, or generated summaries to external/local systems, especially in enterprise or regulated environments.
