DNS Lookup
PassAudited by ClawScan on May 1, 2026.
Overview
This is a coherent DNS lookup skill, with the main thing to notice being that queried domains and IP addresses are sent to an external service.
This skill appears safe for ordinary public DNS, WHOIS, reverse DNS, and IP geolocation queries. Before installing or using it, remember that the domains and IP addresses you enter are sent to dns.agentutil.net, so avoid using it for sensitive internal systems or confidential investigations unless that sharing is acceptable.
Findings (1)
Artifact-based informational review of SKILL.md, metadata, install specs, static scan signals, and capability signals. ClawScan does not execute the skill or run runtime probes.
Any domain names or IP addresses you ask it to look up may be visible to dns.agentutil.net.
The data flow is clearly disclosed and purpose-aligned, but queried hostnames or IPs could reveal internal infrastructure or investigative targets to the external service.
This skill sends domain names and IP addresses to an external API.
Avoid submitting sensitive internal hostnames, private IP information, or confidential investigation targets unless you are comfortable sharing them with the external service.
