Question 1: Why is Jehovah's humility remarkable?
The Answer: It is truly amazing to think that Jehovah is humble. He is the Almighty God. He has all the power in the universe. Yet, he cares for us in such a kind way. Notice what the Bible says at Psalm 113:5 and 6. It asks: "Who is like Jehovah our God?" Then it says he "stoops down" to look on the earth. Think about that word "stoops." It means he willingly lowers himself to see us. No one forces him to do this. He does it because he loves us. This is so different from many human leaders today. Often, when people get power, they become proud. But Jehovah stays humble. He looks for those who are poor or sad and he lifts them up. This makes us feel safe when we pray to him. We know he is never too busy or too grand to listen to our heart.
Practical Application: When we remember how Jehovah "stoops down" to care for us, it motivates us to be humble with others, especially in our families and the congregation. It draws us closer to him in prayer, knowing he truly listens to us.
