File Sorter By Ext

Security checks across malware telemetry and agentic risk

Overview

This is a simple local file sorter that does what it claims, though users should know it moves files and the documented script name is wrong.

Use this only in a directory you intend to reorganize, preferably after backing up important files or testing on a copy. Run the included tool.py rather than the filename shown in SKILL.md, and remember it moves files rather than copying them.

Finding
The skill description says it 'automatically organizes files' but does not clearly warn users that this involves moving files into new extension-based folders, which can materially alter directory contents and workflows. Users may run it on important directories without understanding that files will be reorganized, causing confusion, broken references, or unintended disruption.
