File Organizer By Ext

Security checks across malware telemetry and agentic risk

Overview

This is a simple local file organizer that moves files in a chosen folder into extension-named subfolders, with no evidence of hidden or malicious behavior.

Run it only on a folder you intend to reorganize, preferably a copy or non-critical directory first. It moves files immediately, including files without extensions, and can disrupt paths or workflows because there is no preview, undo, or confirmation step.

Finding
The skill advertises convenience but does not clearly warn users that it will move files and alter the target directory structure. This omission can lead to unintended file reorganization, workflow disruption, or accidental movement of important files when users run it on sensitive directories such as Downloads, Desktop, or project folders.
