Dup File Finder

Security checks across malware telemetry and agentic risk

Overview

This is a simple local duplicate-file finder that hashes files in a user-chosen directory and prints duplicate paths, with no network, deletion, credential, or persistence behavior found.

Before installing, note that the command should use the shipped file name, tool.py, unless renamed. Run it only on directories you intend to scan because it reads all files underneath and prints full paths and hashes; avoid running it as root or against broad system directories unless intentional.
