Overview
The skill mostly matches its token-compression purpose, but it can scan all local OpenClaw session logs and persist summaries while overstating how complete its lossy compression is.
Install only if you are comfortable with a tool that can read local OpenClaw session logs and rewrite workspace memory files. Start with benchmark or --dry-run, keep backups/version control, inspect generated observations, and avoid cron automation until you have verified the scope and outputs.

Past session transcripts may contain private prompts, tool outputs, file paths, secrets, or project details; this skill can summarize and store those details in workspace memory where future agents may reuse them.
The observe command scans every JSONL file in the user's global OpenClaw sessions directory and persists derived observations and tracking data in the target workspace. The artifacts do not show workspace scoping, sensitivity filtering, retention limits, or exclusions.
