This is a local watermarking helper whose file access matches its stated purpose, with ordinary document-editing caveats but no evidence of hidden access or exfiltration.
Install only if you are comfortable adding the listed Python packages. Use explicit output filenames, avoid overwriting originals, keep backups of important documents, and be aware that the PDF example briefly writes a local _temp_wm.png file in the output directory.
