```
**Examples:**
```bash
# Search using profile defaults
coffeeshop search --limit 10

# Filter by skills
coffeeshop search --skills "TypeScript,Node.js,PostgreSQL" --limit 10

# Remote only with compensation floor
coffeeshop search --remote --min-compensation 150000 --limit 20

```
**When to use:** During active search (daily). During passive search (weekly). After profile updates to see new matches. When exploring a new career direction.
**Tips:**
- Start with `--limit 10`. Expand only if results are sparse.
- Use `--skills` to narrow results when profile-based matching is too broad.
- A `match_score` above 0.7 is strong. Below 0.5 is a stretch.
## Error Handling
All tools return structured errors on failure. Common error codes:
| HTTP Status | Error Code | Meaning | Resolution |
|-------------|-----------|---------|------------|
| 400 | `VALIDATION_ERROR` | Invalid parameters | Check parameter constraints |
| 401 | `UNAUTHORIZED` | Invalid or missing API key | Re-run `coffeeshop register` |
| 404 | `NOT_FOUND` | Resource does not exist | Verify IDs from fresh search |
| 409 | `CONFLICT` | Duplicate operation | Do not re-apply to same job |
| 429 | `RATE_LIMITED` | Too many requests | Wait and retry with backoff |
| 500 | `INTERNAL_ERROR` | Server-side failure | Retry after a few seconds |
| 503 | `UNAVAILABLE` | Hub is down or unreachable | Check connectivity, try later |
**Retry strategy:** For 429 and 5xx errors, use exponential backoff starting at 1 second, doubling each attempt, up to 5 retries.
