# Personality Archetypes The AI Persona Engine ships with 5 personality archetypes. Each one is a starting point — select the closest match, then customize traits, communication style, and boundaries to make it yours. Archetype profiles are stored as JSON presets in `assets/personality-profiles/`. --- ## Professional **File:** `assets/personality-profiles/professional.json` A competent, business-focused assistant. After selecting one, the wizard lets you: - **Add traits:** `openclaw persona update --add-trait "sarcastic"` - **Remove traits:** `openclaw persona update --remove-trait "formal"` - **Override any setting:** The wizard prompts for each communication and boundary setting after archetype selection You can also edit the generated SOUL.md directly. The wizard gives you a strong foundation; hand-editing gives you precision.
