# VIP Tiers Guide (Fast Fashion)

Quick reference for the `ff-vip` skill. Load when the agent needs tier templates, benefit ladders, guardrails, or copy patterns without re-reading the full SKILL.

## Tier shapes

| Shape | Example tiers | Use when |
|------|---------------|----------|
| 3 tiers | Member / Gold / VIP | Simple program; early iteration |
| 4 tiers | Member / Silver / Gold / Platinum | Standard; clear progression |
| Spend-based | $150 / $400 / $800 (12 mo) | Most common for apparel |
| Points-based | 1,000 / 5,000 / 15,000 pts | When points are the main currency |

Prefer **3–4 tiers** maximum. Too many tiers reduce clarity and increase support burden.

## Benefit ladder

Fast fashion tiers work best when the ladder is **experience-led**, not discount-led:

- **Access**: early access to drops (24h/48h/72h), exclusive colorways, member-only bundles.
- **Shipping**: free shipping thresholds by tier; occasional free express for top tier.
- **Earning**: points multipliers (1.25x / 1.5x / 2x).
- **Moments**: birthday reward, anniversary reward, surprise gift.
- **Service**: priority support; faster exchange processing only if operations can truly deliver.

Limit discounts to **1–2 places** in the ladder. If discounts are the only value, the program trains price sensitivity.

## Guardrails

Common issues in fast fashion:

- promo stacking abuse
- multi-account abuse
- higher returns from “buy more to tier up”

Guardrails to include:

- No stacking with sitewide promos (or define strict stacking rules).
- Points/rewards reversed on refunds/returns.
- Redemption caps per order (e.g. max 20–30% off from points).
- Exclude low-margin SKUs or new launches from redemption where needed.

## Copy patterns (EN)

- Join module: “Join VIP for early access, member-only drops, and rewards.”
- Tier progress: “You’re $32 away from Gold — unlock 48h early access.”
- PDP teaser: “Gold earns 1.5x points on every order.”
- Checkout: “Apply rewards now” + “See benefits you’ll earn from this order.”
