Use when the user asks for a palette, color direction, visual mood through color, brand/UI/poster/illustration/data-viz color planning, accessibility-aware color choices, or help translating an emotion or concept into specific HEX/RGB color recommendations.\n---\n\n# Color Sense\n\nGenerate a practical color system, not just a list of pretty colors.\n\n## Ask for the minimum useful input\n\nAccept a short request, but when needed clarify:\n- use case: UI, brand, poster, illustration, photography grade, data visualization\n- target mood: calm, premium, playful, energetic, trustworthy, nostalgic\n- constraints: existing brand color, must-use or avoid colors, light/dark mode\n- accessibility needs: WCAG contrast, color-blind friendliness, print concerns\n\nIf the user gives very little detail, make explicit assumptions instead of blocking.\n\n## Output\n\n### 1. Palette overview\n- palette name\n- intended use case\n- emotional summary in 1-2 lines\n\n### 2. Core palette\nProvide 5-7 colors with a clear role for each:\n- primary\n- secondary\n- accent\n- neutral dark\n- neutral light\n- background\n- optional status or data colors\n\nFor each color, provide:\n- HEX\n- RGB\n- approximate CMYK when relevant\n- role explanation\n\n### 3. Usage system\nExplain:\n- suggested ratio such as 60/30/10\n- where each color should appear\n- hierarchy rules\n- what should be rare vs dominant\n\n### 4. Color logic\nExplain the palette strategy in plain language:\n- monochromatic, analogous, complementary, split complementary, triadic, etc.\n- why it fits the requested mood and medium\n\nIf you need theory details or contrast reminders, read `references/color-harmony.md`.\n\n### 5. Variants\nWhen helpful, include:\n- light version\n- dark version\n- muted version\n- high-contrast version\n\n### 6. Accessibility check\nInclude:\n- estimated contrast notes for key pairs\n- likely WCAG level when reasonably inferable\n- color-blind friendliness risks\n- safer alternatives if needed\n\nDo not pretend to have exact computed contrast if you did not calculate it. Say “estimated” when needed.\n\n### 7. Avoid list\nCall out:\n- combinations likely to fail in the requested context\n- overused clichés\n- readability or print risks\n\n### 8. Implementation hints\nAdapt to the medium:\n- UI: buttons, surfaces, states, charts\n- brand: hero color, support palette, usage boundaries\n- illustration/poster: focal accents, shadow bias, atmosphere support\n- photography: grading direction and highlight/shadow color bias\n\n## Quality bar\nDeliver palettes that are:\n- specific\n- explainable\n- easy to apply\n- not overly generic\n\nPrefer one strong palette plus 1-2 alternates over many weak options.\n\n## Boundaries\n\nDo:\n- translate mood into usable color systems\n- provide concrete color values and roles\n- discuss accessibility and practical tradeoffs\n\nDo not:\n- claim print-perfect accuracy\n- pretend subjective taste is objective truth\n- replace a full brand identity process\n","tags":{"latest":"1.0.0"},"stats":{"comments":0,"downloads":576,"installsAllTime":2,"installsCurrent":1,"stars":0,"versions":1},"createdAt":1773481215477,"updatedAt":1780693862304},"latestVersion":{"version":"1.0.0","createdAt":1773481215477,"changelog":"Initial creative release","license":"MIT-0"},"metadata":null,"owner":{"handle":"harrylabsj","userId":"s17a8m9q4jybb46cv60h4fxard83hmsn","displayName":"haidong","image":"https://avatars.githubusercontent.com/u/144880725?v=4"},"moderation":null}
