## Draft checklist

- Subject line matches thread intent (`Re: ...` when appropriate)
- Acknowledge sender request/context in first sentence
- Provide direct answer or next step
- Include concrete timing if relevant
- Keep short unless user asked for detailed response
- Avoid commitments the user did not approve
